June 5, 2003 We've completed the registration process for our booth in the Atlanta Pride Festival Marketplace, June 27-29! Now we're getting all our presentation materials together to make the best impression we can on the festival patrons. For those who participated in the community Cherry Blossom Festival booth, we invite you again to be a part of our booth in Atlanta. There is no fee imposed for your participation, so all we ask now is to provide us with ample copies of your outreach literature. Macon Pride's presentation will include updated Resource Guides, membership & current project information, and Macon Pride Festival participation info. If you're not currently listed in our Resource Guide, please consider this opportunity to advertise for free to a large segment of middle Georgia's population. Contact me to be included in the updated Resource Guides no later than Monday, June 16 so I can get a business card from you for your listing. If you're looking to gain more exposure for your gay-friendly business or organization, you're invited to also distribute your information from our booth free of charge. Contact me if you're interested so I can get your literature before the event. And finally, feel free to volunteer to help staff the booth in Atlanta. Two or three hours at a time is all we need, so contact me if you're going up to the festival and want to help out. We'll need your support for the parade too (Sunday June 29), but we need your commitment as a parade participant by Monday, June 9.
